Employment Terms & Confirmation

Every YOI member contributes to ideas that scale, strategies that inspire, and stories that sell.

1. Probation & Confirmation Policy

At YOI Media, every new hire embarks on a journey of mutual growth and performance evaluation.

  • Probation Period: Standard probation is 6 months from the date of joining.

  • During this phase, employee performance, behavior, and cultural alignment are continuously assessed.

  • Upon successful completion, employees receive a confirmation letter and become eligible for full-time benefits and incentives.

  • If required, the probation period may be extended with a formal notice and evaluation feedback.

  • Employees under probation may resign with 7 days’ notice or salary in lieu.

YOI believes confirmation is not just tenure-based — it’s performance-earned.

2. Contractual Engagements & Duration

YOI Media engages professionals under various forms of employment depending on project needs and expertise.

  • Full-Time Employment: Core team members involved in long-term organizational functions.

  • Contractual Employment: Specialists or consultants hired for a defined project or time-bound engagement.

  • Freelance/Retainer Basis: Creative collaborators or niche experts engaged for flexible assignments.

  • Contract duration, renewal, or termination will be governed strictly as per the Mutual Agreement Letter.

  • All engagements must comply with confidentiality, data protection, and IP ownership clauses.

3. Internship Policy (Duration, Targets, Evaluation)

YOI Media offers structured internship programs to nurture emerging talent and provide real-world digital experience.

4. Extension & Hiring Criteria

Performance is the foundation of long-term growth at YOI Media.

  • Employees or interns whose tenure is ending may be offered an extension or full-time hiring based on:

    • Consistency in meeting performance metrics.

    • Alignment with YOI’s creative culture and ethical values.

    • Ability to adapt to new challenges, clients, and technologies.

  • Underperformance or policy violations during probation/internship may lead to non-extension or termination.

  • Feedback sessions are conducted prior to every employment decision to ensure transparency.

5. Background Verification & Documentation
