Health, Safety & Workplace Environment

“At YOI Media, a healthy mind and safe workspace aren’t perks — they’re priorities.”

1. Safety & Emergency Protocols

At YOI Media, we believe prevention is the best protection.

  • All employees must familiarize themselves with emergency exits, fire extinguishers, and first-aid kits within office premises.

  • Regular safety drills and fire evacuation practices will be conducted to ensure readiness during emergencies.

  • Any unsafe conditions, electrical faults, or hazards must be reported immediately to the Administration or HR department.

  • In case of medical emergencies, staff must inform the first-aid officer or nearest team lead for quick assistance.

  • Emergency contacts and hospital tie-ups are maintained to handle urgent situations efficiently.

2. Cleanliness & Property Maintenance

A creative space deserves a clean slate every day.

  • Employees are expected to maintain cleanliness and hygiene in their workstations, common areas, and restrooms.

  • Avoid food spillage, littering, or leaving workstations cluttered.

  • Any damage to furniture, systems, or decor must be reported immediately.

  • Pantry and refreshment zones are shared spaces — keep them organized and ready for the next colleague.

  • Cleaning staff and maintenance teams will ensure daily upkeep, but responsibility begins with each individual.

3. Damage, Misuse & Penalties

Every tool and property in YOI Media is part of our collective growth.

  • Employees must use company assets — laptops, cameras, furniture, or accessories — responsibly and solely for official purposes.

  • Damage caused due to negligence, misuse, or unauthorized activity will result in deduction or disciplinary action.

  • Intentional property damage or tampering with systems (including IT hardware/software) is considered a serious violation and may lead to termination.

  • Employees must not relocate or remove any office equipment without written approval from the Admin department.

4. Health & Wellness Measures

A creative mind functions best in a healthy body.

  • YOI Media promotes a balanced lifestyle with regular wellness programs, health talks, and mental health initiatives.

  • The company provides access to ergonomic workstations and ensures adequate lighting and ventilation.

  • Sick employees are encouraged to rest and recover rather than report to work.

  • Periodic feedback sessions on work-life balance and mental well-being are conducted to maintain a positive environment.

  • The HR team may organize yoga or stress-relief sessions to boost overall well-being.

5. Prohibited Substances & Smoking Rules

YOI Media is committed to maintaining a substance-free workplace.

  • Smoking, alcohol, and drug use are strictly prohibited within office premises, parking zones, or during official duties/events.

  • Any employee found consuming or under the influence of intoxicating substances during work hours will face immediate disciplinary action or termination.

  • Designated smoking zones (if available in building premises) must be used only during official breaks.

  • Employees must refrain from encouraging or tolerating such behavior among peers.
